On January 24, 2026, Clifford J. Renn, 89 years, of Lambertville, MI left this earth to be with his beloved wife, Rachel. Cliff was born on June 24, 1936 in Floyd Knobs, IN. He was raised by his parents, Markus R. Renn and Anna M. Renn in Lambertville, MI.
Clifford served in the United States Air Force from 1959 until his honorable discharge on May 17, 1968. After the Air Force, Cliff went to work as a radio mechanic for North Central Airlines (which after mergers became Northwest Airlines). He retired from Northwest Airlines after 30 years.
Cliff was a huge Detroit Tiger fan and if they were playing a game, it would be on his television! He was pretty handy at fixing and repairing most things. He especially liked to work on his 1958 Chevy Biscayne alongside his grandson, Luke. He also enjoyed tending to his organic garden. He said the homegrown vegetables harvested from his garden just tasted best. He was a longtime member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Clifford is survived by his daughters, Veronica (Russ) Holmes, Cecelia (Tom) Mallin, and son, John Renn; grandchildren, Sara (Matt) Mason, Corey Holmes, Joshua (Taylor) Holmes, Heather (Josh) Mallin, Lucas Mallin; great-grandchildren, Connor and Blake Holmes; sister, Helen Kuch-Kunich, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Clifford was preceded in death by sons, Markus C. Renn and Matthew M. Renn; grandson, Zachary R. Holmes; and sister, Mary Rose Marking.
We are forever grateful to Lisa, Gail, Drew, Jenni and Christian for their extraordinary love and dedication shown to Cliff. Your care allowed him to stay in the comfort of his home, surrounded by family as he so very much wished.
