Concordia “Dia” Bagrowski, 80 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Monday, March 25, 2024 in Mercy St. Anne Hospital. The daughter of Godolfredo and Genoveva (Jimenez) Magno she was born August 13, 1943 in Cavite, Philippines.
A graduate of Quezon City High School Class of 1954, she continued her education in the Philippines at the Clinica Arellano School of Midwifery, graduating with a P.I. Board Certification in 1965. She was fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic.
In May, 1977 Dia joined the International Volunteer Services program in Africa where she met her future husband, Ralph Bagrowski.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph A.; sons, Charles (Michele), Emmanuel Bagrowski; grandchildren, Tayanna, Ariah, Tristan Bagrowski; and extended family in the Philippines; including a sister, Thez Jimenez.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where there will be visiting in the Narthex after 10:00 a.m. Burial of her ashes will follow in the church cemetery.
