Connie Ann Goodrich, 82 years, of Temperance, MI passed away November 9, 2023 in the comfort of her home. The daughter of Dale and Florence (Tanner) Thompson she was born on July 31, 1941 in Marion, OH.
Connie was an inspiration to all who knew her. Not only her immediate family but to anyone drawn to her smiling embrace. Her love of people and good times taught many of us to live in the moment, to look forward with promise, and to leave life’s hardships in the past. Even at the worst of times, Connie had a positive outlook on everything.
Her joy, service and faith in the church was deep and purposeful. As her health diminished in the past few years her motto was “I may not be here for a long time, but I’m here for a good time!”
She was the matriarch of our family. Someone you could count on or call at any time. She loved hanging out with her family, the Bunko girls and her church friends. She was often the life of the party. She loved Perch fishing on Lake Erie and Sandusky Bay and just being in the sunshine! She loved bingo, slot machines and just about any card game you can name.
She is survived by sisters, Linda Wolf, Myrna Loo & Susan Shawaker; her loving daughters, Tamara (Michael) Dean and Kim (Steve) Meyer; 3 step-daughters, Donna, Diane & Jill. She was blessed to be Grammy to 9 grandchildren and 7 beautiful great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Patrick Kalinowski in 1975 and Dan Goodrich in 2020.
