Daniel Reed

Daniel G. Reed, 57 years, of Lambertville, Michigan passed away on August 20, 2026. The son of Daniel and Glennadine (Vyse) Reed, he was born December 16, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio.

Dan was a 1987 graduate of Bedford High School and worked the majority of his adult life at Rolled Alloys. Dan loved restoring and spending time at his family cabin, originally built by his grandfather, Glenn Vyse. Dan and his partner of 18 years, Michelle, spent as much time as possible at the cabin, the place where he was most happy. He also enjoyed winning at the casino, watching Maine Cabin Masters for inspiration, and taking care of those he loved. Dan will be remembered for his humor, fantastic cooking, colorful language, and ability to tell a tall tale. He was very much looking forward to walking his beloved daughter down the aisle in October.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; devoted daughter, Olivia (Alex); bonus son, Jackson; sisters, Debbie Barry, Denise Reed, and Diane (Randy) Dotson; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, and beloved brother-in-law, Pat.

A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI. No services will take place. Cremation has taken place. Online condolences may be shared at www.bedfordfuneralchapel.com.
