Deane Parker Linser, age 74 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away peacefully after a long battle with emphysema on Wednesday February 24, 2016 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, OH. Deane was born in Toledo, OH on April 4, 1941 to Alfred and Arvilla (Blatt) Linser.
Deane married Rosemarie Metz on November 11, 1961. Deane had a passion for helping others, and touched the hearts of many through the years with his kind soul. A Family man, he was a great husband, father, and especially a great-grandfather. He worked as a crane operator for the International Union of Operating Engineers for many years. Deane love helping his son race motocross. He also loved to help his friends out with sprint car racing. He loved to spend time with his daughter, son-in-law, daughter-in-law and his grandchildren.
Deane is survived by his loving children, Lori (Richard) Parker and Thomas (Dawn) Linser; step granddaughter, Channon Malkin; grandchildren, Brittni (Brian) Mercier, Hailey Parker, Jacob Bolger-Linser, Corey Linser and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Deane is preceded in death by his wife, Rosemarie; his grandson Jesse Malkin and sister, Marjorie E (Linser) Dzingleski.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday March 12, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. where a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Military Honors conducted by the Lambertville VFW Post 9656.
