Dianne Marie Kapela, 47 years, of Temperance, MI passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 in Flower Hospital. The daughter of Robert A. and Kathryn (Rank) Kapela she was born July 14, 1968 in Toledo.
Dianne had a contagious smile, she loved shopping, enjoyed being with people, and was an outstanding Wheel of Fortune player. She had fought a courageous battle. Her family will be forever thankful and grateful to her older sister, Kristine, for her selfless donation of her kidney to Dianne 10 years ago, and our relatives, friends, neighbors and especially Father Brian Hurley and the medical staff at Flower Hospital intensive care unit.
She is survived by her loving parents; fiancé and soul-mate, Anthony Marvet and their son, Jon Marvet; sisters, Kristine McGunkin, Susan Maier, Karen Kapela; niece, Kelsey Maier; and nephew, Cody Maier.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Temperance, Friday, December 18 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the organ donor programs.
