Dolores I. “Dee” Barry-Krabach, 93 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
She was born in Mitchell, South Dakota November 26, 1921 to Edwin and Ann (Clancy) Fishe.
Dee worked her whole life at various jobs, which included going to beauty school at age 52 and having her own shop, Dee’s Clip Joint. Her love in life was playing piano for over 35 years in Toledo for several places such as Joey’s Supper Club, Pied Piper, and Obie’s Irish Pub. In later years she also did demo work at J.C. Penney’s. Dee was always doing something, such as volunteering her time at elderly homes, also singing and playing the piano. Described as a feisty, tough lady she loved her jewelry and make-up for sure.
Dee is survived by her children, Liana Schreck, Victoria Jancsi, Mary Schreck, Pat (Debby) Barry, Kip (Peggy) Barry, Kelley (Greg) Stram; brothers, Keith Fishe, Ken Fishe; sister, Nancy Robertson; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, David M. Barry, Sr. in 1984; husband, Raymond Krabach in 2003; son, Mike Barry; brothers, Ted and Richard Fishe; and sister, Madonna Highland.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held at 4:30 p.m., officiated by Fr. James Auth. Cremation will follow.
