Donna Keane

Donna L. Keane, 72 years, of Temperance, MI passed away with family and friends at her side on December 21, 2021 in the Toledo Hospital. Donna was born on March 23, 1949 in West Virginia to John and Betty (Shamblin) Rosselit.

Donna moved to Temperance, MI where she attended Bedford High School graduating in 1967. She was employed by Food Town in Temperance retiring after 37 years of service. After retirement, Donna devoted her time to her grandchildren being lovingly referred to as Gamma Donna.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, John; sons, Jeff (Stacy) Ott, Jamie (Cheree) Brescol, John Keane and Sean (Rachel) Keane; step-sons, Robert (Christine) Wilkins; step-daughter, Michelle (Greg) McElroy; grandchildren, Tina, Alexi, Landon, Michael, Laine, McKenzie, Liam, Olivia, Gage, Esemee, Lulu and PK; sisters, Charlotte Casey and Jillian Hauser; special recognition to Rhonda (Dean) Sass her go to Girl BFF and all her luncheon gals she looked forward to being with. Many Memories.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

If I should die before the Rest of You

Don’t break any flowers or inscribe a stone.

Nor when I’m gone speak in a Sunday voice.

Please be the usual selves I have known.

Cry if you must cause parting is sad but life goes on

So, sing aloud all is well with my soul.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Compelled Church 8970 Jackman Road Temperance, MI 48182 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Nate Elarton and Pastor Rick Flood officiating. Luncheon to follow service. Memorial donations may be made to The Pediatrics Cancer Foundation or the family.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave, Temperance, MI.
