Gloria Beck

Gloria Beck, 91 years, of Holland, OH and formerly of Temperance, MI passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. The daughter of William and Anna (Schulte) Thomas she was born September 16, 1932 in Detroit, MI.

She married Robert “Rob” Beck April 6, 1957 in Detroit and he preceded her in death in 2000 after 43 years of marriage.

Gloria’s favorite hobbies included crocheting, cooking, golf, bowling, and playing cards.

She loved cheering for the Detroit sports teams and was a big fan of the Detroit Red Wings hockey.

Some of her favorite times were the winters that her and Rob spent in Naples, FL enjoying the warm weather, gardening, golfing, playing bocce ball and shuffleboard with friends.

Throughout her years Gloria always found time to do what she enjoyed most, just talking and visiting with friends.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Darlene (David) Arndt, Sharon (Richard) Morgan; 3 grandchildren, Madison Arndt, Richard Morgan, and Ryan Morgan.

Services will be private in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI with entombment in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.

The family gives special thanks to everyone who took care of Gloria at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. “We will all miss your special way and love you always GG”.
