Helen Schwartz, 87 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on June 14, 2018 at the Franciscan Care Center. The daughter of Walter and Sallie (Marsee) Mills she was born on October 5, 1930 in Pineville, KY.
Helen enjoyed and was an excellent seamstress, cook and baker. She was an avid reader. She loved and cherished taking care of her family.
Helen is survived by her loving daughters, Regena (Ken) VanPelt, Donna Robinson and Cheryl (Jim) Lykowski; grandchildren, Kimberly and Matthew VanPelt, Joshua and Ryan Leach, Thomas Robinson, Matthew, Timothy, Andrew and Kelsey Lykowski, Elizabeth Pio; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Mae LaVoy and a plethora of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Gerald “”Gus”” Fuson and grandson, Christopher Pio.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
