Irene Cora Stevenson, 105 years, slipped safely into the arms of Jesus on July 25, 2015. She was born to Charles and Hannah (Schilling) Haberlin on December 10, 1909 in Lowell, IN.
Irene was preceded in death by her husband, George Stevenson; daughter, Sharon Cleavinger; an infant son; and 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Leon and Lorna Steele.
She is survived by 6 children, Arthur Stevenson of Lambertville, MI; Valetta Steele (Al) Crumley of Greenwood, IN; Leonora (Virgil) Ullom of Babson Park, FL; Eugene (Corrine) Stevenson of Pickerington, OH; Ronald (Glenda) Stevenson of Lakeland, FL; Melvin (Sylvia) Stevenson of Lansing, MI; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 31 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
