Mr Dec was always present for his family with a supportive smile and kind words. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a witness to his example of a father and family man! The world is a far better place because Jim Dec lived in it. From my family to the Dec’s we are truly saddened and joyful that he has heard “well done good and faithful servant.”

Jimmy was always such an awesome role model to me. While he was nine years older, I remember all the summers I would spend with his parents and two sisters. Jimmy would take time to teach me all about the animals they had and how to care for them. I was always in awe of his muscles and how strong he was. Later in life,Jimmy went on several vacations with my parents and would keep a watchful eye my mom. As we grew older our age was no longer a factor because we were able to spend a lot of time together and I was able to meet the Milwaukee gang and continue to share several more memories with him. Jimmy was a man of faith. May he rest in peace knowing how many lives he had touched with his kind demeanor. I will miss you Jimmy Coco Bop

My cousin Jimmy was a sweet loving man who had a grin I could never forget. I loved him since we were kids in Milwaukee. I will always remember how proud he was of his boys and laughed while he watched them rough house and you could see his pride and love for his kids. Say hi to your folks and Aunt Virgie and have a short one with Uncle Smokey! Your life was an inspiration to your family. You lived it well. Godspeed! ❤️. All my love Sis
