James Linden Jensen Sr., 77 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away Monday November 30, 2020 in his home. The son of Linden and Catherine (Dazell) Jensen, he was born June 4, 1943 in Toledo, OH. A 1961 Bedford High School graduate he married the love of his life Karen Johns in 1967.
He was a tool and die maker for many years and a dedicated UAW member and officer. James was a Bedford 3B-Baseball coach, Cub Scout Master and Lifelong University of Michigan fan. He enjoyed bowling, playing softball, hunting and camping with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Karen Jensen (Johns); his children, Renee (Michael) Way, Wendy (Bob) Pelliccia, James Jr. (Jill) Jensen, Timothy (Jodee) Jensen, Matt (Connie) Jensen; nine grandchildren, Sara, Adam, Audrey, Benjamin, Meghan, Josh, Brody, Lila and Teagan; sisters, Chris (Tim) Fox, Janice (Tim) Korhumel, and brother John (Patti) Jensen. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margaret Fisher.
Visitation with social distancing guidelines will be Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. where the funeral service will be Friday, December 4, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Deacon James Dudley. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
