Jeanne Liber, age 93, passed away on September 30, 2016 in her home. She was born at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo, Ohio on July 22, 1923. Jeanne graduated from Woodward High School in 1941 and worked at the Lucas County Health Dept., Owens Illinois and others. She married Daniel F. Liber in August of 1941.
Jeanne was very active in many clubs and organizations. Specifically, the Toledo Metro Auxiliary Ladies Club, Widows Club, Keenager’s Club and others. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel for over 50 years.
She had many friends in her lifetime and cared for others very much. Jeanne was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed going to the casino and doing crafts. Her biggest joy in life was her family.
Jeanne is survived by her son, Gary (Kathy); grandchildren, Heather (Fouad) Eid, Christopher and Tyler; great-grandchildren, Ava and Leah. Preceding her in death was her husband, Daniel and son Ronald.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 6, 2016 at 10:00 a.m in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Online condolences may be shared at www.bedfordfuneralchapel.com
