Jovita Celajes LaPointe

Jovita Celajes LaPointe, 64 years, of Temperance, MI went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Ebeid Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Sylvania Campus. She was born on August 18, 1960 in the Philippines.

Jovita loved spending time outside whether it be gardening or planting beautiful flowers. A

hard worker, Jovita hated taking breaks. She liked going to festivals, fishing and loud music.

Jovita had a lot of stories and jokes to tell and made everyone laugh. Known as “Lola” to her

grandchildren, she loved spending lots of time entertaining them.

Jovita is survived by her daughters; Marie, Titim and Jackie (Tony) Zmudzinski;

grandchildren, Mc Tracy, Shane, Cassey, Avey, Ava, Erika, and Otto. She was preceded in death

by her husband, Vincent LaPointe.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the

Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral

service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will follow. Jovita’s ashes will be interred at Great
