Larry Richard Mishka

Larry Mishka, 74 years, of Temperance, MI and Sebring, FL passed away June 1, 2025 in his Temperance home surrounded by family. The son of Richard and Mary (Corr) Mishka he was born August 25, 1950 in Toledo, OH. Larry was married for 53 years to his childhood sweetheart, Lynn Garber.

He enjoyed fishing, tying fly fishing lures, spending time with his granddaughters, who fondly referred to him as “Binka”, being a snowbird and hanging out at the beach.

A natural salesman, Larry especially enjoyed the commercial building industry having worked for ABC Building Supply, West Building and retiring from Modern Builders Supply in 2015.

Larry is survived by his wife, Lynn Mishka; son, Steve (Jennifer) Mishka; daughter, Stacy (Mark) Gilbert; granddaughters, Emma Mishka, Shelby Gilbert, Delaini Gilbert, Ruthi Gilbert; brother, Ron (Gail) Mishka; sisters, Rose (Mike) Mrkva, Lois Merritt, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Hatti (Przyojski) Mishka and Harold and Thelma (Curran) Corr.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 12, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, June 13, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Temperance where visiting will begin after 10:00 a.m. in the narthex. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Erie Township Volunteer Fire Department or the Bedford Township Fire Department.
