Lee James Stratton, age 39, died peacefully in the arms of his wife on February 25, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
Lee was born September 13, 1983, in Toledo, OH. He attended Maumee High School. He was a member of Ironworkers Local 55 and most recently worked at Toledo Metal and Spinning. Lee had a love for fishing and hunting, the latter which he learned from his grandfather, James E. South who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his loving mother, Kelly Royster (South).
He is survived by his wife of four years, Tara Faye Stratton; daughter, Kaylyn Maier; son, Zachary Maier; grandchildren, Olivia, Carter and Dominiqk; brother, Adam (Jessica) Stratton; nephew, Hunter; nieces, Bailey, Emma and Ella; uncles, James C. (Julie) South, Brad (Angie) South and Keith (Amy) South and numerous cousins and friends.
If desired, friends may make contributions to the Bedford Funeral Chapel in Temperance, MI to help family with final expenses. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
