Leo Robert Ruby

Leo “Sonny” R. (Rubalewski) Ruby, 87 years of Adrian, MI and formerly of Temperance passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 in Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian. The son of Leo G. and Alice (Wojtowicz) Ruby he was born on March 18, 1939 in Temperance.

He retired from Tecumseh Products Company after 30 years of service. Leo loved the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing. He enjoyed his Sunday Nascar races and watching MLB any chance he could. He also looked forward to having his morning coffee with the guys and shooting the breeze.

He is survived by his loving children, Robert “Bob” Ruby, Jim (Christine) Ruby, Carol Kietzman, Angela (Randy) Breitner; grandchildren, Stephanie (Kietzman) Duffy, Lisa (Michael) Aldridge, Jimmy (Stephanie) Ruby, Danielle Dalton (Powers), Barbara Sheets, Keri Ruby, Jessie Ruby; 11 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and longtime girlfriend, Connie.

Cremation has taken place. There will be no services.
