Louise Alice Willard

After a lifetime of love and devotion to her family, Louise Alice (Gladding) Willard, 90 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, August 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Louise was born September 12, 1932 in Ionia County, MI to Earl and Loisa (Christensen) Gladding. She was the seventh of their eight children and graduated from Vestaburg High School where she met her husband of 48 years, Jack L. Willard. They were married on April 11, 1952.  The greatest delights of her life were the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren that they shared. She was a faithful disciple of Jesus and took every opportunity to share the good news of the Gospel wherever she went.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Mitzi (William) Zornow, Sue (Michael) Hauser, Jill (Michael) Milot, and Jana (Jonathan) Crots; 14 grandchildren, Jason (Melissa), Justin (Tara), Jordan, Heather (Jason), Brandon (Kenisha), Victoria (Bryan), Travis (Jo Anna), Tyler (Terah), Jesse (Katie), Lynsie (Travis), Emma (Christopher), Rylie, Grace, and Wyatt; 29 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Janice Beard.  Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, Jack in May of 2000, and 6 of her siblings.

The family would like to thank Hospice of NW Ohio for their loving care of Louise during her final months.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects by visiting on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at New Life Church, 6023 Summerfield Rd. Petersburg, MI 49270 where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private.
