Lucille Florence Pirrone

Lucille Florence Pirrone, 90 years, formerly of Temperance, MI passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 in Hampton Manor, Lambertville. The daughter of Julian and Lucille (Krass) Cavataio she was born December 23, 1933 in Detroit, MI.

She married Gieuseppe “Joe” Pirrone, and they shared 52 years together. He preceded her in death in 2005.

Lucille loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining her family and friends. Lucille was a nanny to several families and was known as Grandma P. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving children, Gaspare (Carol) Pirrone, Ann Ruthsatz, Lucille (Frank) Gotha, Julian (Lori) Pirrone; 14 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, John Ruthsatz; granddaughter, Vanessa Pirrone; sister, Grace Amara and brother, Pete Cavataio.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, February 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
