Lydia Wanda Finkenbiner, 90 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on November 2, 2017 in her home. The daughter of Alfred and Catherine (Lynch) Berger, she was born on October 1, 1927 in Toledo, OH.
Lydia enjoyed gardening and sharing the fresh produce, knitting, crocheting and making lace with needle tatting. She also loved to watch the squirrels visit her feeders. Lydia retired from Bargain City.
Lydia is survived by her children, Howard Finkenbiner, Karen(Wes) Seeger, Susan (Frank) Turski; 2 grandchildren, Katie (Jessie) Boudrie, Benjamin (Lauranne) Turski.; 3 great-grandchildren, Zoe, Xander and Zachary; siblings, John (Marilyn) Berger and Shirley Sroczynski. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard; parents; infant son, brother; Glenn Berger; sisters, Mildred Enslow and Olive Steele; grandson, Brian.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from Noon until 1:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI. where the funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
