Marcella Steinman

Marcella Ann Steinman, formally of Temperance, Lambertville, MI, Stuart, FL and lastly Toledo, OH, passed away Monday, March 1st, 2021 at the age of 83.
Born June 2, 1937 to Lawrence and Lottie (Kregulka) Koppelman in Monroe, MI. Marcella attended St. Anthony’s Grade School; graduated from Bedford High School in 1955 and graduated from Warner College of Beauty in 1956. 

She owned Otto’s Hair Fashions Salon and AnewU Salon for a combined 45 years and upon retiring she volunteered at Flower Hospital in Surgical Waiting Room and Lake Park Nursing Home on Sundays for mass. Marcie was a former member of St. Anthony’s and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Churche as well as Christ the King in Toledo. She was a member of the Ohio Cosmetology Association and American Hair Dressers Association.
She traveled several winters to Stuart, FL where she volunteered for the Treasure Coast Humane Society Thrift Store, where she was recognized with the Silver Certificate for her number of volunteer hours.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond; special friend, Edward Sponseller; nephew, Duane and great nephew Steven.
She will be missed by her sister, Theresa Zilm; 7 nieces and nephews and their families; daughter, Tabby (Jeff) Preston; granddaughters, April, Ashley (Jake) Sullivan, Anna Preston and Great-Granddaughter, Eleanor.
Marcie was a wonderful baker and cook and will be remembered for her generous spirit, ability to strike up a conversation and making you feel welcomed.
Services will be private due to CoVid. Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice. Arrangements entrusted to Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
