Marianne Jean Fuleky of Temperance, Michigan a loving mother, sister, and a devoted grandmother peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the age of 80. She was in her daughter’s home in Elmore, Ohio where she had been living for the past 5 years. She was born January 19, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to George and Lottie (Parker) Barner.
Marianne was very proud of her family and was excited to become “Ninnie” to her 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was always there when her family needed her and was the most loving and caring mother and grandmother. She was selfless and always put others ahead of herself. Marianne loved holidays and family gatherings. Chances to spend time with her family was of utmost importance to her. She would spend hours cooking, cleaning, and preparing for her family and friends.
Marianne leaves to cherish her memory her 5 children, whom she loved unconditionally; Marie (Raymond) Tomanski, Anthony (Brenda) Fuleky, Diane (Lowell) Krumnow, Paula (Jeffery) McBride, and Sandra Pierce; also her 10 grandchildren, Victoria Holmes, Raymond Tomanski Jr, James (Heather) Fuelling, Jacqueline Krumnow, Calvin Fuleky, Matthew McBride, Stephanie Fuleky, Christopher McBride, Sierra Pierce, and Hanna Pierce; 2 great-grandchildren, Robert Holmes and Haley Holmes. Marianne was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Anthony S. Fuleky, her parents, 7 siblings, and her son-in-law, Lowell Krumnow.
She touched the lives of so many people and even though she is gone, her memory will live on in our hearts forever. Her spirit has not left us. Everyone who was ever touched by her in his or her lifetime should have faith that she will be watching over them because she surely is in heaven. In celebration of her life and in keeping with her wishes, her children will receive family and friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 8330 Lewis Ave, Temperance, Michigan. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe County Humane Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
