In loving memory of Mary McClellan who was a gift from God as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Mary McClellan, age 72 years, of Toledo, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in The Toledo Hospital. The daughter of Robert and JoAnn (Hudak) Fournier, she was born September 8, 1950 in Toledo.

An excellent teacher, she set a wonderful example for her children. Her appreciation and love for all of God’s creatures and nature was unwavering. Mary’s care for others led her to volunteer her time to make sure no one went without.

Dedicated to her faith, she was an active member of her parishes, both at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Toledo and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance.

Her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.

She is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Eric, Jessica, Maureen, and Steven; brothers, Dave, Bob, Jim, and sister, Patti; grandchildren Nick, Zachary, Rachel, Noah, Logan, Samantha and MacKenzie; and great-granddaughter, Sage. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 from 9:15 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church 8830 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI. In honoring Mary’s wishes there will be a private mass at 11:00 a.m.

Mary was a very lovely & fun lady who knew how to make everyone feel welcomed to a gathering, she & Bob raised a strong, loving & very successful family. Mary’s love & memory will go on to serve her family for generations to come, we are sure.

In memory of Mary Dear Family, A beautiful obituary for a beautiful person. Mary was a spit fire! I have had many good conversations with Mary over the years along with family visits "up north". May the angels take her into paradise. May the Holy Spirit give the Family strength during this difficult time. Mary is now with Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Bob and all the Family that has gone before her. Bob & family, We were so sorry to learn of Mary's passing. She suffered for so many yrs. Now she is no longer suffering. We loved Mary as she was such a loveable person.
