Cynthia Kevern-Collins, 59 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, December 17, 2023. Cynthia was born to Edward and Gertrude (Nickels) Andrews on March 1, 1964 in Toledo, OH.
Cindi was a 1982 Bedford High School graduate and earned an associate degree in nursing from Owens Community College in Perrysburg, OH. Cindi was a Registered Nurse and devoted the majority of her career to hospice care. When she was not working, Cindi enjoyed spending time with her friends and husband, James “Jimbo” Collins, at Jolly Roger Sailing Club, and NCYC, where she received the title of “Lady Cindi” during her husband’s position as Commodore in 2018. Cindi had a love for life, laughter, and always brought happiness to those around her.
Cindi is preceded in death by her father, Edward; mother, Gertrude; brother, Edward “Cook” Andrews; brother, Norman Andrews; and nephew, Michael Andrews.
She is survived by her husband, Jim “Jimbo” Collins; children, Lance (Rachael) Vogelsong, Heather (Ron) Brazee, and Holly Kevern; Step-Children, Alyssa Martinez, Raven Collins, Jesse Schoen, and Hayden Burton; and grandchildren Leah, Macy, Colt, Easton, Riley, Brooklyn, Bryson, and Braelyn; siblings, Darryl (Cindy) Andrews, Dale Andrews and Dawn (Ron) DeShetler
Cindi’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, for the amazing care and support they provided.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
