Nancy Finley

Nancy married Donald Finley Sr. on January 15, 1955. While married Nancy and Donald had 6 children, Donald Finley Jr., David (Judy) Finley, Cynthia (Finley) Cooper, Mary (Finley) Laney, Nancy (Finley) Stewart and Byron (Ivy) Finley. She had 11 grandchildren, Christina (Graham) Willis, David Finley II, Bradley (Andreia) Lefevre, Amber Workman, Christopher (Crystal) Laney, Bryan (Jennifer) Lefevre, Ashley (Richard) Collins, Donald Finley, Alysia Stewart, Damien Finley and Tyler Finley. Also 12 great-grandchildren, Cody Stevens, Chelsea (Ryan) Pool, Hailey (Jacob) Olinger, Brianna Finley, Austin Workman, Steven Workman, Sara Workman, Baylee Lefevre, Cara Mitchell, Emerik (Bork) Finley, Adalyn Laney, Bryer Laney and Cole Collins; great-great grandchild, Madilyn (Stevens) Fultz and one on the way.

            Nancy loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything. She worked several jobs in her life including Speedway, K-Mart, Frenchtown Bar and the VFW Newport Post. She really enjoyed crossword puzzles, countless hours of playing cards with her family and friends. She loved to teach her grandchildren the ropes of life and loved helping everyone she could. She loved her BINGO nights with her family and friends. She enjoyed going out to eat with everyone just to spend time with them. Nancy loved with everything she had.

            Nancy is survived by all her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild; sister, Barbara Saad; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Byron Howe.

            Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or services. Arrangements were entrusted to the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave Temperance, MI.
