Patricia Ann Warnke

Patricia “Pat” Warnke, 84, of Temperance, MI, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at ProMedica Flower Hospital. Pat was born on January 26, 1942, in Toledo, OH and was the daughter of Isaac Knox and Ailene (Lawrence) Dunlop. She was a 1960 graduate of DeVilbiss High School. Pat married George Warnke on April 7,1961.

She had been employed at GB Warnke and Associates since 1972, helping George open the company and manage the finances for close to 50 years. She was an integral part of the company and was loved by their former and current employees. She was a former member of the Bedford Athletic and Band Boosters and Football Moms Club while her children were in high school. Pat was known for her quick-wit, enjoyment of kitchen-table conversations, love for football, enduring patience, and love for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She loved cats and adopted many throughout her years, including her current cat, Rex. She enjoyed feeding and watching birds in her backyard, especially cardinals. Both animals and children seemed to sense Pat’s calm nature and would flock to her.

Pat is survived by her husband of over 64 years, George, her four children, Robert (Donna) Warnke, Lisa (Tom) Campbell, Debra (Steve) Balmert, Scott (Lisa) Warnke, 10 grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Stephanie, Beth, Thomas Jr, Michael, Matthew, Hannah, Zachary, Lucas, and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Robert Dunlop.

Cremation and private burial will be at Bedford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bedford Senior Center or the Bedford Township Lions Club. The family would like to thank Friends of the Family Home Health Care, specifically Alexandria (Alex) and Kerry for their help in taking care of Pat.
