Patricia Samsel

Patricia Samsel, 77 years, of Sylvania, OH passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023 in Rosary Care Center in Sylvania. The daughter of Francis and Sophia (Lukaszek) Samsel she was born September 3, 1945 in Toledo.

A very friendly and helpful person, she got along with everyone, and enjoyed children. She worked at Toledo Hospital for over 15 years and then at McDonald’s for over 20 years. Patricia had struggled with very severe arthritis and health issues and became a resident of Rosary Care Center in 2015.

She is survived by her loving sister, Sister Mary Irenaeus, OSFS, twin brother, Ronald Samsel; brothers, Stephan (Joann) Samsel, Michael (Debbie) Samsel; and loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 1, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Noon, where she will lie in state in the Narthex after 11:00 a.m., in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Temperance. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
