Paul Cready

Paul Richard Cready of Jacksonville, FL passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 24, 2016. He was a 1997 graduate of Whitmer High School. An avid Michigan Wolverines football fan, he was also a fan of the Detroit Lions, Red Wings and Tigers. Paul was a very hard worker carrying two jobs most of the time. He had a wonderful sense of humor and always knew how to make people laugh. He had a passion for fighting. 

Paul leaves to cherish his memory two children, Tyson and Taylor Cready; beloved friend and mother of his children, Rachel Cready; his mother, Cynthia Contos and father,  Rick Cready; mother-in-law Michaelene Wilhelm and father-in-law Edgel Mann; brothers, Neal (Michelle) Cready and Dustin Clayton; step- siblings, Kristin (Chad) Thielen and Dana Contos; nephews, Michael Husen, Nicholas Cready, Briley and Arianna Clayton; along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mary and Gerald Giebel; paternal grandparents, Marjorie and Jack Cready; his best friend, Tank and stepfather, Robert Clayton.

            The family wishes to thank those who have already donated to the funeral expenses for Paul. It is greatly appreciated by our family.

Visitation will be held Wednesday,  March 30, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where the Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with cremation to follow.
