Paul Thomas Longlott, 87 years, of Lambertville, MI passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 in Ebeid Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Sylvania, OH. The son of John Longlott and Eva Lou (Kirkman) Bronakowski he was born August 14, 1937 in Swanton, OH. He graduated from Swanton High School and obtained an Associate Degree from the University of Toledo.
He worked in skilled trades for General Motors, retiring after 30 years of service. Paul served in the U. S. Army from April of 1958 to April of 1960. He was alifetime member of the Lambertville VFW Post #9656where he served as an honor guard for many years. A proud participant of the Veterans Honor Flight in 2023. For 30 years, he also proudly served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Lambertville Fire Station #2.Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling especially during the winter months when he would spend time in Florida at the Rainbow Campground for the past 20 years. He also enjoyed his cottage in Marblehead, OHand would make routine visits as often as he could.
Paul is survived by his fiancé, Diane; children, Kathleen (Richard) Grzechowiak, Laurie (Chuck) Lippert and Jody (Greg) Sheckler; grandchildren, Jenna Rudd, Steven (Hilary) Sheckler and Helen Grace (Logan) Sheckler and his “little black dog”, Sissy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Keatley)and a brother, Frederick Longlott.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Lambertville Cemetery with military honors conducted by Lambertville VFW Post #9656.
