Phyllis A. Anderson, 85 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania, OH. The daughter of Albert and Anne (Lewandowski) Kilmon she was born February 13, 1935 in Hammond, IN.
Phyllis had worked as a medical assistant in health care. She enjoyed crocheting and making special wraps and blankets for children in need. She also liked working puzzles often gluing them together for wall hangings.
When Phyllis wasn’t teaching her children to be kind and loving she was supporting her husband of 46 years, The Rev. Marvin G. Anderson during his ministry to congregations in MI, MN, and FL. She married Marvin on October 16, 1954 in Calumet City, IL and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2001.
She is survived by her loving children, David (Lisa) Anderson, Todd (Tricia) Anderson, Mary Beth Peace, Dory Abele; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI where thefuneral service will be at 7:00 p.m.officiated by Pastor, Beth Ferne Johnson. Covid19 safety protocols will be followed. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.
