Robert C Johnson, 94, of Temperance MI., passed away suddenly but peacefully at his home on February 14, 2024.

He was born to Irvin and Beatrice (Miller) Johnson on January 6, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio. He married Frances Micenec on May 25, 1963 in Toledo, Ohio.

Robert was an elementary school teacher for 29 years at Mason Consolidated Schools in Erie, Michigan retiring in 1993. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling.

Robert is survived by his son, Joseph (Jillian) Johnson of Toledo, Ohio; daughter, Leslie Johnson of Oak Park, Illinois and sister, Veronica Alek of Toledo, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.

 

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church where he will lie in state in the narthex after 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Toledo. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to donors’ choice.
