Roland “”Rollie”” Wayne Eisenmann, 86 years, of Temperance, MI passed away on January 17, 2018 surrounded by family in his home. The son of Donald and Verlie (Akin) Eisenman he was born on March 31, 1931 in Toledo, OH.
Roland and brother Art owned and operated Eisenmann Bros. Contractors for over 40 years. During that time he and Art built over 100 homes and commercial buildings. Rollie was a active member of the Carpenters Union and made an honorary member upon his retirement.
Rollie was always ready to lend a helping hand. He mowed many lawns and plowed many driveways for neighbors and friends. An avid golfer, there were many mornings Rollie opened golf courses with friends and family. Roland was active in The Crossroads Community Church, where he attended for over fifty years.
Roland is survived by his wife, Joan Eisenmann; children, Sherry Hill, Bill Eisenmann;
grandchildren, Amber (Tom) Kimberly, Tiffany (Brian) Turbin, Scott (Jenny) Hill; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Avalyn Bear, Gen Francis and brother, Dee (Terrie) Eisenmann.
When Roland and Joan were married two families were blended to include, Kevin (Cindy) Rose, David(Janie) Rose, Darlene (Fred) Sang and five step grand children.
He was preceded in death by first wife, Dorothy Eisenmann; brother, Art Eisenmann and sister Beth Crafts.
Visitation will be Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel, 8300 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI. where funeral services will be held Monday, January 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Donations may be made to The Crossroads Community Church.
