After spending a Sunday afternoon dinner and making out the Super Bowl board with her family,
Rosemary “”Rosie”” Bridge passed away suddenly in the early hours of Monday, December 19, 2016. Born in Temperance, MI she was the 2nd oldest child of Arnold and Matilda (Wagner) Bridge. Rose was the loved matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed. She had a big heart, enjoyed cooking and baking, and was always there to help when needed.
While growing up and for many years after, Rose helped with the family farm. She also worked as an assembler for the Dura Corporation retiring in 1991, and for a short time at Meijer’s. In recent years she loved taking road trips with her sisters and niece, whether it be to casino’s, zoos, scenic train trips, Cirque du So lei shows, diamond mining in Arkansas or sand castle building on Lake Michigan. Animals were always important to Rose and she enjoyed caring for the birds and other wildlife. Rose loved her rescue cats, Spooky and Annabelle; and they miss her already.
It was Rosemary’s wish to help others by being a tissue and organ donor.
Rosemary is loved and will be missed by brother, John Bridge and his children, Kimberly Bridge (Bill), Steven Bridge (Lynn), and David Bridge (Pia); sister, Gloria Raymond and children Cheryl (Jim) Moss and their children, Michael and Ashley; sister, Carol and very special brother-in-law, Michael Zielinski.
Her parents; sister-in-law, Jerrilyn Bridge, and brother-in-law, Michael Raymond preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held at Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Burial will be private.
