Ryan Keith Smith, 38, of Toledo, OH passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018.
Ryan was born on September 11th, 1979 in Toledo, OH to Keith and Sally Smith. Ryan was a great family man, he had a deep love of family and was a loving father to Sammy. He had a lifelong love of music, even from the time he was a toddler. Ryan attended Bedford High School, Temperance, MI, where he played in the Concert Band and the Jazz Band. He was an accomplished musician and loved playing his bass guitar.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Henry and Ruth Kupniewski of Samaria, MI, paternal grandparents, Marvin and Lucille Smith of Erie, MI and cousins David and Ronald Kupniewski.
Ryan is survived by his fiancé Jannah Binegar and son, Samuel of Toledo, OH, his parents Keith and Sally Smith of Toledo, OH, his sister Teresa Smith and nephews Cody and Anthony Hathaway of Toledo, OH and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI.
My deepest condolences to his family. I was in jazz band in high school with him. He was such an amazing musician.
Ryan, you will be missed by many. I will always remember all the good times we had when you went up to the cabin with us all...you were a joy to be around...R.I.P. Mountain Man...
