Steven Harrison

Steven M. Harrison, 64, years, of Temperance, MI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 in the University of Michigan Hospital, Ann Arbor, MI

after a 3 year long illness with his wife Tami by his side. A warehouse supervisor for Georgia Pacific, for 17 years, he most recently worked for Cardinal IG in Fremont, IN until his medical retirement. The son of William and Carol (Stacy) Harrison he was born September 17, 1958 in Toledo, OH.

Steve enjoyed fishing at their lake house. An avid Michigan and Detroit Tigers fan, he loved coaching little league baseball on and off for many years. He also played softball for local teams and continued to umpire locally.

To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his wife of 34 years, Tami (Giebel); his 3 dogs, Oliver, Daisy, and Olivia; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Dorothy Giebel; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Rob and Connie Giebel; stepfather, Donald Payne, Sr.; siblings, Rick Harrison, Pam Florez, Angie (Mick) Witt, Stacy Payne, Donald (Pam) Payne, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI where the funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Cremation will follow.

Steve donated to the Gift of Life. Please feel free to wear your Michigan or Tigers attire on Monday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Humane Society.
