Tadhg Farrell was called to his Heavenly home May 2, 2025 after a long illness. He received in-home spiritual and compassionate care from Elara Hospice.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine, sons, Sean, Kristofer and daughter, Jennifer Farrell. He was employed in Precision Machinery Repair and Development with Champion Spark Plug more than 30 years.
He pursued studies in the Diocesan Diaconate program and went on to develop a ministry program for men in their parishes promoting their spiritual and personal growth and spirituality with God. These parish prayer groups are still active in Ohio and lower Michigan today. He also served as Area Co-Ordinator for Project Children for 6 years giving children in Ireland a respite from the troubles, bringing them to America each summer to experience peace during the conflicts.
Tadhg was very proud of his Navy service serving aboard the USS Yosemite AD-19. He enjoyed flights on sail planes climbing high on air currents, nature photography, and spirit filled Notre Dame Games. May his soul now rest in eternal peace.
