Teresa (Terry) Grenier, 66, of Toledo passed away unexpectedly on October 5th, 2021. She was a loving and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Don; daughters, Karrie Bradley (John), Krista Bradley, Ashley Jones (James); grandchildren, Nicholas Lovett (Lorisa), Courtney Lovett, Paige Lovett, Nate Foster, Laine Jones, Elliett Jones; great-grand children, Ellah, Nicholas Jr, Jimyiah and Paisley; sister, Sherry (Tim) Schmidt and brother, Doug (Carrie) Oswald. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Earlenia (Potts) Oswald.
Terry was a paralegal and worked for Newcomer & McCarter and Hunter & Shank law firms before retiring.
Once she retired her life blossomed. Through her church, Messiah Lutheran, she began to volunteer at Mustard Seed Outreach Ministry. She had a passion
for gardening and poured that passion into the garden at Mustard Seed to help provide fresh produce to those the ministry served. She also volunteered at Toledo GROWS and loved her time at the farm.
In her free time her and Don enjoyed boating, fishing, hiking and spending time with their family.
Terry was a “”Jill of all trades”” and showed her love through acts of service. She enjoyed sewing and lovingly created Christmas stockings for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love looked like cooking meals for others. Getting grandkids to school. Helping clean or do laundry for a family member in need. Pulling weeds in a garden or landscaping. Coming whenever she was called and rolling up her sleeves.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI 48182 where the Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donating clothing, canned goods, money or time to
Mustard Seed Outreach Ministry.
