Therese Ghesquiere-Trame

Therese Rose Ghesquiere-Trame, age 87, of Toledo, OH was peacefully given her angel wings surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born on February 20, 1934 in Oak Harbor, OH, the youngest daughter of Urban and Edna (Slavin) Wagner.

In 1953, she married her first love, Frank Ghesquiere. They settled on Suder Avenue in Toledo and lovingly raised 3 children together. They enjoyed 30 amazing years together until Frank’s death in 1984.

Therese enjoyed helping others and had a long career as a secretary in Toledo Public Schools. She again was lucky and found another partner, and married Richard Trame in 1988. They retired and became snowbirds in St. Petersburg, Florida. They enjoyed going for walks, dancing, and playing cards until Richard’s passing in 2020.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Arthur (Dianne) Ghesquiere; daughter, Deborah (David) Walter; daughter, Patricia (Nathan) Miscikowski; 9 grandchildren, Brian (Elizabeth) Miscikowski, Melanie (Ryan) Dubendorfer, Stacie (Clyde) Monroe, Laura (Jason) Reineke, Sarah (Kurt) Reeves, Mark (Katie) Ghesquiere, Keith Ghesquiere, Michael (Gloria) Walter, and Kevin Walter; 16 great-grandchildren; and Richard’s 14 remaining children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A private funeral mass will be held at St. Catherine’s Church in Toledo with burial in Mt. Carmel Resurrection Cemetery in Toledo.
