Vicki Lynn Marinski

Vicki Lynn Marinski (nee Halm), 65, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away in St. Anne Hospital on October 14, 2023, surrounded by her family and friends.

She was born to Paul and Dolores (Painter) Halm on March 11, 1958, in Toledo, Ohio. Vicki graduated from Whitmer High School in 1976 and attended Owens Technical College for two years in the business and secretarial field, a field that always interested her and one which she would go on to make a lifelong career of.

She will be greatly missed and remembered as a generous and caring woman. She would move heaven and earth to help her family and friends, and God help you if you were on the other end.

Vicki is survived by her sons, Michael (Katherine Pothero) Marinski II, Nicholas (Kelly Ingle) Marinski, Brandon (Deidre Betts) Harkins, and Bryan (Samantha Stevenson) Harkins; her grandchildren, Michael (Kaitlyn Rutter) Marinski III, Jordyn Marinski, Laina Martinez, Onyia Marinski, Michael Prothero, Daniel Prothero, Anthony Prothero, and Jonathan Wheeler; and her great-grandchild, Michael Marinski IV. She is also survived by her sister, Cindi (Bob) Jones, and her mother, Dolores Painter. As well as several nephews and cousins who cared for her deeply.

Vicki was preceded in death by her father, Paul Halm and step-father, Fred Painter.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI 48182. Where funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 11 a.m.

Vicki’s family wishes to extend a special thanks to James Nowak and Kris Budd for treating Vicki as one of their own.
