William C. Stevens, 86, years, of Decatur, MI passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 in Hickory Ridge. A retired factory worker for AP Parts and long-time member of Local 14 Toledo. He served his country in the United States Airforce. The son of John and Bernice (Roland) Stevens, he was born August 9, 1936 in Wakelee, MI.
Bill loved hunting, fishing and just being by the water. He enjoyed watching sports, the news and his soap operas. Most of all bill loved spending time with his family and he loved showing the grandkids around his home town.
He is survived by children, Craig (Dianne) Stevens, Hugh (Robin) Stevens, Mike Stevens; sister, Marlene (Robert) Riggs; nephew, Danny (Nan) Riggs; Niece, Dawn (Les) Melville; grandchildren, Joshua (Laura) Stevens, Melissa Stevens, Melanie (Jason) Watson, Joyce (Tim) Ohair, Chad Stevens, Krissa (Douglas) Childs, Vanessa Stevens, Luke Stevens and many loving great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy, parents and nephew Chuck Riggs.
Arrangements entrusted to Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Wakelee Methodist Church, Funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andy Abrams officiating. Burial will follow at Little Fish Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Marcellus or Wakelee Methodist Church.
