William Tenney

William Dale Tenney, 83 years of Temperance, MI passed away Monday November 8^th, 2021, at his home. Bill was born September 17, 1938, in Waterville, OH. The youngest son of Delmar and Helen (Bensman) Tenney. 

He was employed for 29 years with the Toledo Scale Company. He especially loved his grandchildren and could always be found showing his support at school functions and sporting events. He Loved family cookouts and gatherings on Holidays especially Christmas always trying to find that special gift for everyone. He loved walking his dog, the outdoors, riding his bicycle and attending car shows. He enjoyed building things and tinkering around the house solving problems. He enjoyed traveling, riding his Harley playing cards and games with family and friends.

He is survived by his daughter,  Cheryl (Bill Stoiber) Tenney; sons, Richard (Mary) Tenney, Robert Tenney, Scott (Shannon) Tenney; 8 grandchildren, Jeffery, Jennifer, Bryan, Adam, Aaron, Alexa, Kalvin, and Cooper and 1 great-grandchild Everly. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Dolores E (Bronson) Tenney; parents, Delmar and Helen (Bensman) Tenney; sister, Patricia Louise Ankney and brothers, Gerald E. and Kenneth D. Tenney.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Ave. Temperance, MI. Where the funeral service will be Thursday, November 11, 2021 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Whiteford Union Cemetery.
